Working with Costume Designer Bina Daigeler, my primary field of work on Mulan was the design and construction of the Tang Dynasty armour and uniforms for the Chinese army, as well as the costumes and armour of all the clans of the opposing Rouran armies and the Shadow Warriors.

This was an epic task that involved the talents of Weta Workshop and Meniscus Leather in Wellington NZ, as well as our own in-house team of costume fabricators in Auckland.
