Under the direction of costume designer Ngila Dickson, I was given the task of coordinating the design and manufacture of the Hobbits and Elves of Middle Earth. This also encompassed styling all of the extras costumes, seeing them through fittings and establishing them on set. I also assisted Ngila with the costume design of several key groups of smaller characters and extras.

 

Ngila Dickson & Richard Taylor won an Academy Award in 2004 for Return of the King and a Bafta in 2003 for The Two Towers , both for Costume Design.

They were also nominated for an Oscar in 2002, Baftas in 2002 and 2004
